A Billing Attendant Cargo is responsible for managing the billing and invoicing process for cargo shipments at airports or logistics hubs. This role ensures accurate documentation, pricing, and timely generation of invoices for freight services.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Preparation:
Generate accurate invoices based on cargo weight, type, handling charges, and destination.
- Documentation Handling:
Review airway bills, manifests, and shipping documents to ensure all necessary data is recorded.
- Coordination with Cargo Staff:
Work closely with cargo handlers, customer service, and warehouse teams to gather correct shipment details.
- Rate Verification:
Cross-check applicable rates, taxes, and service charges with tariff sheets or client contracts.
- Customer Interaction:
Assist customers or agents in understanding bills, resolving discrepancies, and processing payments.
