Job Overview:
To manage and monitor the cargo parking area at the airport, ensuring the safety of vehicles, controlling access, and maintaining proper order in compliance with airport security regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control entry/exit of vehicles into the cargo parking area using access control procedures.
- Ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked in designated zones.
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicles entering or parked in cargo zones.
- Maintain visitor and vehicle logs with accurate details of drivers, license plates, and time of entry/exit.
- Assist in traffic management within the cargo terminal to prevent congestion or unauthorized parking.
- Coordinate with cargo handling staff, airline personnel, and traffic marshals as needed.
- Respond promptly to suspicious activity, unauthorized parking, or security breaches.
- Regularly patrol the parking area to detect and prevent theft, damage, or misuse of property.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum 10th Pass (12th Pass preferred).
- Experience: 1–2 years in security roles, preferably in logistics or aviation. Freshers may also apply.
- Age: Typically 18-30 years.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and access control.
- Good observation and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in a busy outdoor environment.
- Familiarity with radio communication and incident reporting is a plus.
